Let's talk about food.
Filipino breakfast generally consists of 3 important ingredients
Kanin (Rice)
Ulam (Entree)
** Pamatong (Tomatoes, Garlic, Dried Fish)

Most Kainderia's (food stops) will always have these available to eat for anyone to avail. The breakfast scene of the Philippines never really has a point of where to begin or when to stop, it's always been a just eat-it kind of matter.

However labeled as a breakfast dish, more often than not most Filipinos eat this dish everyday and at any time. A very common a simple kind of meal to purse only calling for fried rice, a protein and any suitable garnish -  most commonly fired garlic.
